8.) Day of Favorites! What’s your character’s favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?
Well, this generally fails for me because all these characters are in a different world… Ice cream doesn’t exist and songs would not be the same as what we have. I don’t give my characters favorite flowers, so today it will basically be “What is your character’s favorite color? Durrrr.” ACTUALLY NEVERMIND. BONUS FAVORITES (ty Tiff).
Favorite color: blue
Favorite place: library
Favorite animal: none
Favorite taste: sweet
Favorite hobby: reading, sleeping…
She was partially inspired by sakura flowers if that counts. :V
Favorite color: pink
Favorite place: outdoors, preferably under some trees
4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
He is far from vain. Allen is extremely subconscious about his appearance because of how much it has been affected by his many illnesses. He dislikes every physical aspect about himself but he knows there’s nothing he can do about it but to cover himself up as much as possible.
Eun is not vain, but I wouldn’t say that she doesn’t like the way she looks. Always dressed in odd clothes and bright bright pink, Eun isn’t afraid to flaunt who she is. “Confidence” was one of the things she had learned from her mother- being able to have confidence in herself was no exception.
As I had stated on Day 2, Fay does not like the way he looks. He knows that his appearance is very boyish (which is why people tend to treat him like so) and he’s sick of it.
Vasilis considers himself “average” in terms of appearance. He’s completely fine with the way he looks and never goes out of his way to change anything. However, he has noticed that his younger sister lectures him quite often about unkemptness…
Uhh, doing 4 characters at once. Two of them I’m not so fond of, but the other two are okay. Going to do this in alphabetical order.
1.) Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
He had a really good relationship with both of his parents. He and a his twin were precious to their parents, who doted on the two of them. Unfortunately, they were rather sheltered from the outside world due to their poor health and a certain curse. Even after they went bankrupt, their parents did all they could to protect them. That is, until they died.
Eun could care less about her father. He was never around around as he was a traveling merchant. Although he supported the family, Eun blames him for her older brother’s accidental death. Her relationship with her mother, however, is quite strong. A calm yet willful woman, Eun’s mother was the kind of person Eun aspired to be. Though she no longer lives with her mother, Eun tries to visit her when she can. They continue to get along well.
Fay never got to know his parents. His mother died at childbirth and his father committed suicide a few months later. He was raised by his paternal grandfather.
Vasilis had a slightly distant relationship with his parents. He was overshadowed by his older brothers and was only 4th in line for the throne. His parents paid little attention to him and rarely spent any time alone with him. Vasilis always reasoned with himself that his parents were simply too busy and that it was only natural that his older brothers received the most attention. He wished he could’ve been closer to his parents. It is too late now.
